About Summit Agro International
The President and about 90 employees are working professionally and harmoniously every day. However, since someone is always on a business trip within or outside the country, it is extremely rare for all employees to meet at one time.
Our primary businesses are the development, sales and trading of crop protection, environmental health and pet care products. Throughout our work, we pay utmost attention to compliance, CSR and environmental protection.
Our staff are stationed in New Jersey (U.S.), Paris (France), Moscow (Russia), Bucharest (Romania) and other major cities to develop the local market. We also make extensive use of the global network of the Sumitomo Corporation Group to accelerate our global growth.
Our contribution to society and environmental protection though our business
What impressed me most after starting to live and work in Germany is the German peoples’ “efficiency and rationality”, which are key elements that allow them to excel at “enjoying life”. Through efficient business operations, we are working to make positive contributions to food safety and enhanced food production from Germany to the rest of the world.
To help develop local agriculture, we tailor our operations to suit each country’s climate and culture. Our “local-oriented” approach extends even to the way in which we pass the time with farmers who attend our seminars. Our representative in Colombia reports on how we operate our business there.
